So far yet so near,
You knew for me you were most dear,
I walk with my feet adorned with sears,
Alone in this world full of fears,
Why did you leave me behind in tears,
Living with hopes that you are waiting for me where there is light,
Crying myself to sleep with dreams to meet you in the darkest night.
As the dawn breaks, upon my soul shines a revelation so bright,
